WE TAKE A COLLABORATIVE APPROACH TO RECOVERY

No single method, program, or perspective does it all, and it shouldn’t.
The strongest paths are often built by combining the right kinds of support, at the right time, in the right way.
Below are some of the partners and resources we trust, recommend, and in many cases work alongside.

Evive

EVive is an app and online community designed to support people at every stage of their relationship with gambling, whether they’re looking to set boundaries, cut back, or stop entirely.

It also offers guidance and resources for family members and others affected by someone else’s gambling.

Built by people with lived experience and supported by clinical insight, eVive combines practical tools, education, progress tracking, and peer support in one accessible place.

We consistently recommend eVive because it meets people where they are and works well alongside a range of recovery approaches, including peer support (such as 12-step programs, SMART Recovery, and similar communities), along with therapy and coaching.

    Danny | Addicted Recovery

My name is Danny and I was addicted to gambling for around 22 years.  I started gambling at about 12 years old and by the age of 14 or 15 after two significant wins, I was hooked.  Looking back now, I realise I spent the next two decades chasing that first winning feeling.  No win was ever enough.

In November 2024 I launched my YouTube channel, AddictedRecovery, as a way to give back the knowledge I gained.  If even one person hears my story and it helps them stop gambling for good, then it's all been worth it.

Melissa | Making Bets in a Burning House

When I realized that I was married to someone who was having problems with gambling, I didn't know where to turn. I felt sad, because this was my second marriage and I was failing again, alone, because I had no one to talk to, angry, because I felt betrayed by someone I loved. I struggled to find help, so I decided to be the place where people could go to see there is hope and they were not alone.
